Hirotake Ooka studied chemistry and biology in Japan, only to move to Bordeaux to study oenology after falling in love with wine. Eventually landing in the Rhone under the guidance of Thierry Allemand learned how to make excellent natural wine.
He produced his first wine in 2001 and has been making stunning, vivid wines ever since.
