 Cult, genre defining, generationally engaging. So many things apply to these wines. Tavel has been an unusual appellation,  a Rosé appellation, and a dark Rosé one at that. Eric pfifferling re-engaged a place in the doldrums. In doing blending the lines of rose/red/ skin contact and instead focusing purely on sensory pleasure. 

These are rare wines here but have sprouted so many stylistic brethren.
