Son of the legendary Yvon Metras Jules made his first wines in 2014. A legendary vintage, one of the last classic Beaujolais vintages. The 2021 is back to that with elegance and purity, rather than some of the bigger 18-20's.

This is from a Lieu dit  600m above sea level. 60-year-old vines grown on Granite and Quartz soil. 

It undergoes carbonic maceration in concrete tank and then ages in neutral oak. No sulphur added.
