Vincent Durrieu is the fifth generation of his family to follow exceptionally Old School ways of making wines. They basically send certain parcels of wines to age until they are approachable to drink. As such the wines have been stored in their cellars and shipped to us from burgundy earlier this year. 

The wines are in spritely condition showing freshness and life at it's late middle age. 

The Bourgogne Blanc is an exceptional example of slow ageing. Madness.
