Sylvain Martinez used to work for Olivier Cousin, the Chenin master near Angers. 

This is a wonderful example of this grape. It's similar to Grignolino or Poulsard with it's thin skins and making light red wines. This is very pure, earthy and peppcorn spiced aromatics. Sensual, don't eat, just devour.
