Ar Pe Pe own 13 hectares of vinyards in the heart of the Valtellina Superiore DOCG area, dotted around Sassella, Grumello and Inferno. Viticulture and vineyard management is meticulous and everything is done by hand.
The aim at Ar Pe Pe is to show the tru character of Chiavennasca from Lombardy.

This is from the Grumello Cru. Made like traditional Barolo with 5 years ageing in large barrels after a long time fermenting on it's skins.

Aromatically sublime: Tea leaf, puri puri, kirsch and red cherry. It's earthy and full fruited. So young but gorgeous now.
