Jerome Choquet is based in the general region of Tourraine, an un-pretentious part of the Loire that is not well famed. Although it should for it's red wines that have a gloriously distinctive herbal dark chocolate quality that is both intriguing and ultimately engaging. 

Amaro-esque quality framed by rich blackcurranty fruit. So good, too good. For a shiraz lover who needs a tannin break.
